The Hague, Netherlands – UNIIQ, an investment fund specializing in early-stage, proof-of-concept ventures, has announced a €350K investment in Dutch AgTech startup Bionomic.

This latest funding follows UNIIQ‘s €2.5 million investment in seven startups, including Bionomic, just one month ago. The investment is part of a broader initiative by UNIIQ to support innovative solutions in the agricultural sector, with Bionomic’s environmentally friendly biopesticides standing out as a promising solution to combat harmful plant pathogens.

Bionomic’s Vision: Sustainable Alternatives to Traditional Pesticides

Headquartered in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands, Bionomic is dedicated to developing natural biopesticides aimed at protecting plants without the harmful environmental impact of conventional chemical pesticides. The company focuses on products that target plant pathogens such as Fusarium oxysporum, which are significant threats to crop health. By using natural and biodegradable ingredients, Bionomic’s solutions help preserve biodiversity, protect pollinators like bees, and minimize the negative effects on soil and aquatic ecosystems.

“We are thrilled to receive this investment, which will enable us to scale our production capacity and validate our technology further,” said Diederik Mud, CEO of Bionomic. “Our mission is to provide farmers with sustainable alternatives that ensure the health of their crops while protecting the environment.”
