Dubai, UAE – Mastercard has announced a strategic, multi-year partnership with leading digital B2B payments company, PayMate, to accelerate and simplify business-to-business (B2B) payments across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA). This collaboration aims to address significant B2B payment challenges in the region, including limited transaction visibility, manual invoicing, and restricted payment options—all of which contribute to cash flow constraints and operational inefficiencies for businesses.

Projected to generate over $3 trillion in revenue by 2027, the B2B payments market presents a key growth area for digital transformation. Through this partnership, Mastercard and PayMate will leverage their strengths to improve efficiencies and offer seamless digital payment solutions tailored to the needs of organizations in the EEMEA region.

“At Mastercard, we are committed to empowering businesses of all sizes to fully leverage the digital economy,” said Amnah Ajmal, Executive Vice President, Market Development, EEMEA, Mastercard. “Our partnership with PayMate represents a significant step toward simplifying the payables and receivables processes for businesses across the region.”

Ajay Adiseshann, Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of PayMate, highlighted the advantages of this collaboration: “We are excited to partner with Mastercard to bring B2B payment solutions to businesses across the EEMEA region. With Mastercard’s robust network and PayMate’s comprehensive payments platform, we aim to accelerate the B2B payment ecosystem by enabling faster payments, improved cash flow, and greater financial efficiency.”

The PayMate platform, integrated with Mastercard’s commercial cards, allows businesses to conduct a wide range of transactions, including utility payments, collections, and supplier payments—even to vendors that do not accept card payments. Through this platform, businesses benefit from up to 55 days of interest-free credit, reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), enhancing cash flow, and optimizing credit limit usage.
