Fabrick Partners with TerraPay to Revolutionize Cross-Border Payments Across Europe

Fabrick Expands European Footprint Through Strategic Partnership with TerraPay to Simplify Cross-Border Payments
Fabrick, a leading Open Finance platform, is strengthening its international presence by partnering with TerraPay, a global payments infrastructure provider. This collaboration is set to transform cross-border payments in Europe, initially focusing on Italy, by offering businesses a streamlined, cost-effective solution for international transactions while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
This partnership is a key milestone in Fabrick’s broader growth strategy, further reinforcing its stronghold in Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. It follows the recent acquisition of finAPI, which opened the doors for Fabrick to expand into the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Fabrick continues to solidify its leadership in Europe’s digital payments landscape with innovative offerings.
Leveraging TerraPay’s vast global network, which spans 7.5 billion bank accounts, 12 billion cards, and 2.4 billion digital wallets across 145 countries, and Fabrick’s Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform, the partnership aims to create a unified, secure, and efficient payment system. This will enhance the payment experience for businesses and financial institutions across Europe by streamlining processes, improving security, and lowering operational costs.
TerraPay, which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Bank of Italy, and 30 other jurisdictions globally, brings expertise in global anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention. Combined with Fabrick’s deep knowledge of Italian and European compliance standards, the partnership will create a seamless solution that navigates the complex regulatory landscape with ease.
As part of this collaboration, TerraPay will also join Fintech District, Fabrick’s fintech ecosystem, which connects over 300 fintech and techfin companies. This membership will allow TerraPay to further innovate and expand its cutting-edge payment solutions, keeping pace with emerging trends in Italy and beyond.
Paolo Zaccardi, CEO and Co-Founder of Fabrick, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership:
“We are excited to collaborate with TerraPay, gaining access to one of the world’s most expansive cross-border payment networks. By integrating TerraPay’s global reach with Fabrick’s innovative solutions, we are enhancing our service offerings and advancing our mission of expanding internationally. This partnership enables us to provide comprehensive, secure, and efficient payment services that meet the evolving needs of businesses worldwide.”
Ani Sane, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer at TerraPay, added:
“Our partnership with Fabrick is a pivotal moment in expanding our European footprint. By combining our robust payment infrastructure with Fabrick’s cutting-edge banking solutions, we’re poised to help Italian and European enterprises navigate the complexities of cross-border payments with greater efficiency and security.”
This partnership represents a significant step forward in both companies’ commitment to driving innovation within the fintech sector, offering businesses in Europe the tools they need to thrive in the global economy.
