Summa Equity Acquires NetGuardians to Form New Financial Crime Solutions Group

Stockholm, October 2024 – Summa Equity, a leading Stockholm-based private equity firm, has announced the acquisition of NetGuardians, a Swiss leader in AI-driven fraud prevention and anti-money laundering (AML) solutions. The acquisition aims to strengthen Summa’s portfolio by aligning NetGuardians’ cutting-edge fraud detection technology with Intix, another Summa-owned company specializing in Know Your Transaction (KYT) data management.

The newly formed group is set to redefine the financial crime prevention landscape, combining the best of both companies’ expertise. By leveraging NetGuardians’ proprietary 3D AI technology alongside Intix’s advanced data management capabilities, the group will drive the development of next-generation solutions for combatting financial crime.
